Feature and Habit |

The dorsal fin is broad based, low, and triangular. The flippers are small. The dorsal side, the flippers, the fluks and the tail stock are black or brown. The lateral side is gray and the ventral white. Tooth counts ranges 23-26 in each tooth row. They inhabit coastal areas, of gulfs, estuaries, and along rivers. They are often seen on the offshore bank. |
