Feature and Habit |

There is no distinct boundary between the smooth forehead and the slender and long beak. The dorsal fin is high and falcated with a broad base. The flipper is large and pointed at the tip. The body color is almost dark gray or gray brown and they have pinkish or yellowish white spots laterally. The lower side and the lips are white. They have usually many scratches and round scars at the body. Tooth count ranges 20-27 in each tooth row. They inhabit in offshore waters. They are usually in small pods. |
