Body elongate. Single low occipital crest present in males more than 29 mm. Single nape cirrus usually present. Supraorbital region with single long cirrus. Nasal with small and palmate cirri. Gill opening continuous across ventral surface of head. Soft rays of caudal fin branched. Color: head pale brown with white spots and orange lines; body reddish pale brown with brownish bands, 3 bands on middle of body with black and white spot ventrally; spinous dorsal reddish basally and dusky distally, with several reddish spots; soft dorsal reddish basally, with orange and reddish spots and oblique dark red lines; anal fin dusky, yellowish distally; caudal fin pale brown, with orangish posterior margin. Distribution: ranging from the Andaman Sea to Sumatra. (Hisashi Imamura)
