D before anus 41-50; P1 11; PLp 42. Body extremely elongate, preanal length 44-46% TL. Eye large, about equal to snout length. Posterior nostril slightly above mideye level. Mouth slightly oblique. Both jaws with strong canine teeth in irregular rows anteriorly, smaller blunt teeth in single row posteriorly. Dorsal-fin origin above base of pectoral fins. Dorsal and analfin rays unsegment. Color: body and head uniformly pale brown; edge of dorsal fin brownish. Size: 11 cm. Distribution: Andaman Sea.
