Amblyglyphidodon leucogaster (Bleeker, 1847) White-belly Damselfish

Body very deep and compressed. Posterior margin of preopercle smooth. Suborbital scaled, with almost entire ventral margin. Teeth on jaws uniserial, incisor-like. Caudal fin forked; no conspicuous projecting spine-like rays at upper and lower edges of caudal-fin base. Color: ground color silvery gray, with yellow belly (at least in adult), darkened dorsally; relatively large black spot (subequal to pupil) on dorsal part of pectoral-fin base; pelvic fin vivid yellow; leading edges of dorsal, anal and caudal fins black. Size: 11 cm SL. Distribution: Andaman Sea and West Pacific. Remarks: found in coral reefs.
