Stegostoma fasciatum (Hermann, 1783) Zebra Shark

Body cylindrical with prominent lateral ridges. Caudal fin very long.Distribution: Indo-West Pacific, from South Africa to New Caledonia, north to Japan. Remarks: inshore bottom shark, occurring commonly on coral reefs. Feeds mainly on mollusks and fishes.
