Opening hour when a typhoon is approaching
  • National Museum of Nature and Science will close when public transport plan to cancel their service due to a typhoon on the afternoon of our opening day. We will close by around 2hours before the cancellation of trains which stop at Ueno station such as Yamanote line, Keihin-Tohoku line and other lines for our customer’s safety.
  • There is a possibility that we will not open if public transport is already planned to cancel their service from morning on the following day.
  • We will announce our changed closing time via PA system and notices on the board when we know what time the public transport start the cancellation of their service.
  • We do not accept new entries after 30minuets before we close.
